stand in awe 

to greatly respect or revere (someone or something)
—We stood in awe of his ability to play the guitar.

Worship is one of the main themes of Psalms. One psalm contains this simple praise of God:

Let the whole earth fear the Lord!

Let all who live in the world stand in awe of him! (Psalm 33:8)
